Here are the top 5 teams all-time in SRS... (source)

SRS, or Simple Rating System, is basically point differential weighted for strength of schedule.

1) 1996 Bulls - 11.8
2) 1997 Bulls - 10.7
3) 2015 Warriors - 10.32 (Warriors still have 5 games to go)
4) 1992 Bulls - 10.07
5) 2008 Celtics - 9.31

(Only accounts for regular season games)

No, but a good example of how advanced analytics aren't always spot on.

You guys need to chill. He never said they were, he just posted the stats to suggest they could be and asked a question for christ's sake.

And I answered it with a simple one word answer

What's the issue?

Obviously no one is going to answer yes to that question right now. Not the point of the thread.

Maybe my thread title was distracting.

I was just impressed with the stat. I think the warriors are having a far better regular season than most realize.

The other 4 teams on that list finished the season with a title. Then again, #6 is the 2013 Thunder so well see.

For how good the West is- it definitely makes you wonder- I have to say for them to only have 14 losses in that loaded conference is damn impressive. - like poeople have said- this is probably a conversation to finish at the end of the season. If they win it all in impressive fashion i dont think you can discount them though- its something where they should be taken seriously.
