Walker out 12 weeks

Since no one else has reported it, I will. He has had hip surgery and will be out at least 12 weeks. That clears $1.7 cap space and opens a roster spot. We already have 7 dmen so they can add a forward if they chose. I would love to see either Testwuide, Maroon or Holmstrom come up, but if they are not going to play, it wont happen.

FOr some reason, they made a point to state that he won't go on LTIR for now. So no call ups.

I wonder why that would be if he is out that long? My only thought is that with 7 dmen and 13 forwards, they dony want to bring up a kid and have him sit. If there is an injury, they can add him to clear up space.

You are correct we did get the 4th rounder
That trade still sucks i hate the caps sometimes.

That is kind of odd.

With the way some of these vets have been playing, you'd think they would bring someone up to stir the pot and motivate some of them.

Who knows....maybe there's a trade brewing.

If we dont start winning consistantly in the regular season and make it easy on ourselves i'm sure there will be call ups, I agree stir the pot if we dont get on a nice run
