This season is shaping up in a very compelling way. Lots of teams in the playoff hunt and jockeying for playoff position. After this weekend we get Dec football...usually my favorite as we get more games played that are national broadcasts.

It's also leftover season. Today is day 1 of turkey soup made from the Thanksgiving day turkey. This a split pea and ham with the ham bone from the Christmas ham are favorites. Nice and warming during cold weather.

Texans vs Colts is the most compelling early game, Bills vs Steelers for the late game. Should be a good day of football, ending with a bit of a snoozer and the Redskins just don't have it this year.
