It looks very likely that Danny Manning is going to be the next coach at Wake Forest.

Manning has a very thin resume, but a thin resume is better than a bad resume.

Thanks douugie. I really miss having classic games with Duke the way we used to when Odom, Prosser and Gaudio were coaching.

Manning would be the ultimate "wait and see" hire. You can't really judge him because he has such a thin resume. However I am encouraged that the Tulsa people seem to have a high opinion of him and are really fighting to keep him. He has also been credited with the big man development that took place at Kansas, when Manning was still an assistant there.

When we hired Bzdelik, the majority of the fanbase knew he would fail, you can't really tell with Manning though.
