Looks like yahoo has enabled FAAB (free agent auction budget) as an option for picking up players off waivers. This is definitely the most fair way of handling free agency IMO. The way it works is that each team gets a set amount of FAAB $ at the beginning of the year to bid on FA’s throughout the season. Highest bid gets the player. In case of a tie, players will be awarded to the team with the higher waiver priority like in past seasons. I am going to change our rules to it as everyone has wanted it for years. Not sure if I can set the amount of money or yahoo does but I will let you know. If I can set it, I was going to set it at 100.00.
