Doob's take
Sid vs Nathan MacKinnon, Cole Harbour's finest. Both will want something to prove to their home town and I believe both will make an impact. Patrick Roy has the Avs playing at a very high level right now and this is probably the toughest team the Pens have faced to day. I expect a very close game but in the end I expect the Pens to prevail 3-2.

No complaints about this loss from me. Felt we outplayed the Avs but Giguere was in the zone .

Tough loss if only because they probably deserved a better fate with how they played overall. One mistake cost them the game, as no one covered the man out of the penalty box.

One complaint I have is a lack of net front presence both at ES and on the PP. Guiguere played a great game, but he had too many saves which he could clearly see the moment it was released. This isn't a new issue though...

Landeskog and Duchene really impressed me with their defensive play, too. The Avs have a nice team this season.

Yeah Giguere saw every save all the way but it 'a hard to screen Giguere, even if you put a big body in front of him he could still look right over the screen & push people out of the way . Dude is a monster in net.
