And once I don't screw it up and figure out how to post a poll over here, I'll do it that way. For now, my vote is for J.J. Daigneault. Pande-frickin'-moneum at The Spectrum.

Whoa whoa whoa . . . let's slow your roll here. Up until that playoff year, "The Legend" had 3 goals in 40 playoff games with the Flyers (as many as Daniel Carcillo has in 22 Flyers playoff games) and for better or worse led a mutiny against Bill Barber.

Yes, he had a nice run in 2004 but for a career, 18 goals in 128 playoff games isn't going to wrestle the nickname Legend away from Larry Bird.

Good call on the goal above though. I still don't think that it beats any of the other ones in terms of significance other than maybe Gagne's this year, but we can debate that.

Since MacLeish is my alltime favorite Flyer, I have to pick him. Otherwise Primeau. I finally gave up and went to bed. I woke up and turned the tv on to catch the score and about 10 seconds in, he scored. I thought I was watching a replay. I think it was like 2 or 3 am.:D

You ever get down to the Deauville Inn in Strathmere? I see MacLeish in there every time that I'm down there.

I'm going with Primeau's goal.

Over the years, I've seen dozens of excellent goals from our boys and at very crucial times in important games, but that fucker had me running down the street screaming GOOOOOAAALLLL!!! at 3am like the goddamn house was on fire!

You and me both, but I was running around my family room and not down the street. I didn't even sleep that night -- I was too pumped up and I get up at 5:00 AM anyway. I couldn't imagine what it would have been like if they lost that game.

I also have Dave Poulin 3-on-5 vs. the Nordiques in the playoffs in the Top 10.
