Haha too early mania. The new guys get at least a month or two from me before I start bashing. Not many flyers have looked good for the past two games.

He's also a bigger player and does a good job of shielding the puck....he'll get it together soon and be a nice player come playoffs.

he'll be fine. its still early in the season, he's still very young, and he's one of many new faces on the team trying to find their role. not concerned.

If he plays like he did in the preseason he will be around for a long time.

He reminds me a lot of Zherdev

Friend and I had this discussion today. I can see it, but IMO the number 93 is going to be plagued with alleged "laziness" for a while.

All things considered, Voracek has been better than what the naysayers thought he would be. He has some holes, he only plays up to his size about 2 shifts a game (which is up from the 1 shift every other game pattern he was in in Columbus). He tries to make pretty plays, that he is capable of, when the simpler straight ahead play is right in front of him. I think he has earned some of the criticism so far, and some praise as well. He is clearly the great unknown quantity in this offseason's additions. IF he gets his game together he could be a bigger, stronger, younger Leino. He has all the same knocks against him that Leino arrived here with (selfish, weak on the puck, weak on the boards, lazy) and Leino did well to remake his game. I think that it may take the entire season to get the real picture.

Good points. If he can learn to finish from time to time he can be dangerous.

Tell you one thing he can skate and stop on a dime. Once he feels comfortable I bet we get the same type of game as Leino brought and then some as he's bigger. Will be fun watching him progress.
