It was good to see Vogelsong back and after the first two innings he settled down and pitched 6 innings only giving up 2 ER . You have to be happy with that start against a top hitting team in MLB like Baltimore.
The Giants starting pitching now has a 1.99 ERA in it's last ten starts. They continue to lose games but at least they fought tonight coming back in the 9th inning but could never get the big hit to win the game.
Belt is starting to look like the power hitter he hopefully will become with a impressive HR to deep center and a single to start the rally in the 9th.
As for the rest of the offense I have nothing really to say.
I continue to look for positives in this disappointing year and tonight it was General Vogelsong and Belt who showed me something.
