Assuming that Billy wants to stay in the East/in the area, I only see two viable options - BUF and NYI.

The Caps could use someone with his locker room presence, but his skillset wouldn't really be a good fit for them.

Too bad Sather doesn't have cap room left. He would probably give Billy three years @ 3.75 per.

My sentiments exactly. And I agree with your projected lineup. Shero keeps that extra million till the deadline, if things are going well he can trade for a decent winger and their prorated contract.
