L.J. Fort getting a contract extension with the Ravens is an embarrassing look for the Eagles

Me thinks that it is time to get a real football GM in place, and just have Howie handle the contracts. Maybe Andy Weidl? Joe Douglas is gone now. Task, tsk.!
Look at the job John Lynch has done in Frisco. How can't draft, and his free agents haven't done well either.

I think this is more of a gym shorts issue, he likes "his" guys. They should have cut that bum Nate Gerry instead.

Howie does not have a say in what players get cut. Let's not get it twisted though he got a $5.5 million dollar 2 year contract extension with only $3.25 mil guaranteed.

I don’t know that this move was completely on Howie.

That said....yes it is bad optics. And yes, we do need another Joe Douglas (who we possibly might have in house right now and just not noticed yet).
