That was a tongue and cheek slam and a good one at that. With all the talking back and forth this coming season is going to bring some crazy games between these two teams. That first meeting will be must see TV for the whole nation. Will there be any other games this year with as much talent on the field at the same time as that game? Two power house teams with a lot of recent animosity. That will be a physical smash mouth slug fest.

It is definitely going to be an intense, must-see rivalry. I look forward to these 2 teams to face each other 3x a year often this next decade.

Tongue in cheek? I didn't see it that way at all. Now I do not think he was saying the Seahawks are better, but I thought that he was saying that the Seahawks are right there and will continue to be right there for a while.

That's my take any way.

Ian rapoport from NFL.com was talking about it and said that's how it was intended. There was a bit of an eye rolling with it according to his take. Either way having both sides continue to talk about each other all off season is just adding more fuel to an already red hot fire. Can't wait.

Both these teams don't like each other, but I do believe they respect each other. This rivalry is really taking off to new highs.

Idk how it was intended and don't particularly like rapaport enough to take it at face value. Just from the wording, I would consider it a complement.
