He broke his wrist the first play of the game and still rushed for over a 100 yards. Vereen was the only RB to rush for 100+ yards on Sunday.

Surgery is going to prevent a repeat, though. Kudos for being a tough dude, but they're gonna have to give him a few weeks to heal now. Good thing they're deep at RB (Brandon Bolden is still around, even).

agreed but why not take a chance? it would only be short term for cheep probably. hes been wanting to play the docters just wouldnt let him. we got nobody like him with vereen down.

They can't afford to throw away roster spots on guys who won't play at all with the number of short term injuries they've already got.

Best why? Blount and Ridley will be fine. Did we cut Bolden? How many backs do we really need to carry. If we sign anyone I suggest Lloyd or TE

This is a serious problem for the Patriots. Not only can Vreen run and catch but he can block and this is something the Pats will need against the Jets because Rex will dial up something special I can feel it. This also severely limits the options Brady has and we all saw how limited they were in the Bills game even with Vreen.
