Vancouver and Buffalo, Hey Puckhead!

For those soft hearted souls that have wanted to see Buffalo and Vancouver play for the championship (1970 cousins) it kinda sorta happened.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. -- The Buffalo Flash is a league champion in just its second year of existence.

The Flash won the United Soccer League W-League title Saturday night with a 3-1 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Saturday's win topped off an unbeaten season for the Flash (14-0-2), and it had to beat another undefeated team to take the title from Vancouver (8-1-4). The game was nationally televised on the Fox Soccer Channel.

Well the Bills play in Orchard Park but they are still called the Buffalo Bills. Take the loss like a man.

BTW, I don't see the Bills or Sabres winning a championship in my life time anyway.
