I turned on the game in the 2nd quarter, and it was a blowout.

Doris Burke praised Mitchell for his play in recent games.

The Jazz did cut it down from 25, to still trail by double digits, by halftime, but it didn't get much better.

First national TV game in weeks, and that was junk.

Burke also said that Gobert has gotten better defensively than last year, because he's asked to do more.

She said it's rare for a defensive player of the year, to get even better like that.

I had remarked that I didn’t know how to predict Portland games. I knew that they were good, but I also felt they were inconsistent. We may have beaten them once this year, I don’t know. If not, we may beat them the next one, but I think that if I’m doing a ranking, I would put them ahead of us. Not because of the head to head’s, but I think that they aren’t as inconsistent as I thought. Not that we are consistent.
