Regarding MLK Jr. day yesterday:

I got an email, and a phone call, from different businesses yesterday, returning my customer support injuries.

I was confused, because I thought yesterday was a federal holiday.

I guess it's not uniform across all states:

"King-Lee Day" and other ways states bend MLK’s legacy

How can some places use the federal holiday to honor "human rights" and Confederate generals — and not the civil rights leader?

I still couldn't find an answer as which states or businesses are open, as my inquiries weren't from a store like Target, nor from a grocery store.

So I don't know how/why they were returning inquiries.
