Why would they stick with Dallas versus Houston? The game could be as or more competitive because they are similar. We are similar in record to the Clippers. So both are likely to be close games. But ours means more, though I won’t panic if it goes the wrong way.

Lack of star power on Houston, now that Harden is gone.

Also, did you mean to ask "why WOULDN'T they stick with Dallas versus Houston"?

Because that's what I just answered in this post.

Christian Wood is also still out for Houston. So not even their potential All-Star is on the team.

I thought you said Dallas was playing against Houston and they picked the Clippers game versus Utah over that.

When the ESPN schedule originally game out, Dallas vs. Houston was the 2nd game scheduled for this Friday.

They have since dropped that as the 2nd game, and added Jazz vs. Clippers.

Ohh, I thought you meant yesterday. Friday is Saturday to me. Thursday is Monday. Wednesday is always today. Tuesday is Friday. Monday is Sunday. Sunday is just another day.

What about seconds? Is 42 seconds 2 to you?

Is 2 seconds 58 to you?

I don’t know when it happened, but the game was postponed due to severe weather: 9556023F-A33C-4A0D-A728-F8A0DF219D93.jpeg

Besides, I think it should be obvious why they switched to the Jazz-Clippers game. Why they don’t switch other games more often is probably contracts and impartiality concerns. They would love to show Lakers all the time.

ESPN is the only network that switches games, and they only do it after a certain point in the season. So in a normal year, they don't switch games until February either.

And even then, they don't switch every game every Wednesday/Friday. Only one game, per week or so.

There's also a max number of times a game can be shown on national TV. I think it used to be capped in the high 20s, but now I think it's in the low 30s. They don't want every game on national TV, otherwise no one would get League Pass for the Lakers.

So what are your reasons on why they switched to this game (since it happened before the weather related reasons)?

Do you want to predict how many steals Mitchell or Clarkson will have, and whom they will be on?

Any reverse predictions for Patrick Beverley? (predicting something bad?)

I don’t know. They aren’t good teams. Clippers and the Jazz are. Maybe they violated normal rules or patterns, but that’s my guess. We haven’t maxed our games yet, I’m sure, and neither have the Clippers.

Either Clarkson or Mitchell will get three steals or both will get two and that‘s big because I don’t think we have had many big steal games.

Beverly will have one dirty foul, probably in Ingles, and three turnovers OR more fouls than usual.

Clippers are on national TV a lot. Have been since the Chris Paul era.

I don't think they made the switch due to weather, since they made the switch officially over a week ago. I think they just like these teams better, and they don't like how Houston doesn't have Harden.

23 - 31, end of the 1st.

My first TV game in 3+ weeks, and this is what I see?

But wasn’t that the obvious answer? That’s why I was confused on why you were asking me. Thought there was something inside on rules. Or you were trying to get me to say the magic words.

I wasn't trying to get you to say the magic words.

I asked, because I wanted to hear your answer.

I wanted to hear your answer, even if it was the obvious one.

It's ok if both of us agree on something obvious.

But I don't know if we would agree, without asking.

It didn't need to be a unique answer, if that wasn't what you thought.
