I followed along only by game cast. Why is Lucas getting time? I don't get that at all and was waiting for the wheels to fall off while he was on the court. It was a good win in the sense that it shows how strong an influence Trey is. As far as the draft goes, it hurts a little.

I'm still not big on the G man. I wish Favors and Kanter were doing better on the boards.

I don't see much from Lucas, don't think he brings much.

Favors is averaging 9 boards in 31 minutes. That's a great rate. Kanter isn't doing as well.

9 boards is good, I guess I just bought in to some of the projection that he'd be nabbing double digits every night. Kanter has been bad. Our guards are actually snagging boards at a much greater rate than that of last years guard combos. Trey and Hayward do pretty well actually, maybe that takes a couple out of Favors basket.

Yeah, maybe.

Also, Favors doesn't play heavy minutes. Guys like Love, Aldridge, they play 37-39.

Favors is playing 31.

Not sure why his limits are low, I don't think foul trouble has been as prominent this year. I don't have an answer yet, will see if I can think of one.

BTW, are you posting game threads elsewhere? I know I'm rarely watching games live, so can't blame you. Just curious, because I like reading your in-game thoughts too, if you're not posting elsewhere.

No, I'm a one forum man. I moved out into the forest and don't have a great internet connection out here. That coupled with working half the nights out of a week and it has my posting strength greatly reduced. I need to Viagra up and figure this out, especially now that Trey has it at least interesting. I miss the in game posting a lot, having you guys in the virtual living room to beller, cheer, and drink with.

Exactly. I love game threads, it makes it fun, to be together.

I know I'm rarely live, especially on weekdays. But weekend games are more likely for me to be here.

Burke is a nice start. I'll try to assess his strengths and weaknesses by the end of the year.

Even the veterans like Marvin and Richard Jefferson have done enough, IMO. Can't ask too much more.

I'd say a wing defender is a must have, going forward. It doesn't have to be this year, but someone is going to have to be a starting caliber perimeter defender.

Maybe it will be Burke, we will see.
