I have no idea what to expect from this roster. Don't know much about 'em.

We should have pretty solid goaltending with Gillies. Providence is off to a solid start so far this year, and he's got a .945 save pct. with only 1 loss in regulation.

2 Devils prospects in that lineup. Matteau has been heating up of late in the AHL and I'm hoping Santini turns into a top 4 staple for the Devils in the coming years.

/and yes, I know it's the son of the guy who scored that goal.

I'm really hoping Gillies has a strong tourney between the pipes - Maybe a 2-0 loss (second goal into an empty net) against Canada in the gold medal game? I'm down with that.

I gotta be honest, it's shocking how ok I am with it. I remember when we first drafted him I wondered if I'd ever be able to get comfortable saying that name on a regular basis and a year later it doesn't even phase me. I think winning 3 cups and beating the Rangers in the 2012 ECF helped exorcise some of those deamons (ironic since it's the Devils).
