UVA also has one locked up but really wants that #1 seed in the East in DC. UNC and Duke want it too.

A split would likely keep them in next weeks update. 2 losses would probably drop them out, but still not 100% because it's based on other teams as well.

My guess is that if they won out they are probably a 4 seed. Still might not move off the 5 line. Nova was my worst 5, and there was still some debate between them and teams like Miss. St and Cincy for the last 5. There is a pretty significant gap between the worst 3 in this projection and Villanova. I think you would need all the 3's to lose out, and get some help from the 4's as well.

Certainly isn't out of the equation. I think it would take an upset or two for it to happen with a team like Tennessee or UK losing an unexpected game. I think UVA and Gonzaga have 1 seeds locked up.

The new NET was designed for teams like Gonzaga who because they play in a shit conference have no ability to rack up quality wins.

They rank a lot higher in NET than RPI because they've destoroyed the WCC.
