Damn, we are in GREAT position for next year.

2015 may hurt a little bit, but I would at resigning the above players in BOLD. The red players are the ones I would hold off until they earn that contract in 2013 and 2014.

Collins is going to walk eventually. He has probably earned himself a shot at starting in this league.

Michael Johnson is as good as gone. Kiss him goodbye. I'd say the chances of us re-upping him are less than 5%.

Green will probably get paid this offseason. Burfict will get a high tender when he comes up. Newman and Harrison will probably be finished.

I would like to see Hawkins back, assuming he can be prodctive the rest of this season.

Gresham I would sign, but I would "pay", if that makes sense. Not dropping big money on him.

I have to agree that I think Collins will walk. Unless he's getting a shot to start here, I don't see him returning. He'll be given a shot somewhere.

Bengals cant let a talent like Green walk. They gotta start talking extension soon, cannot let it go into a contract year and watch this kid dominate, and have money thrown at him from other teams. Gotta lock him up soon, Just like they did Geno.

Per new CBA, they are not allowed to talk about an extention with Green until after his 3rd completed year (I think). In any case, there is a restriction involved as to how early the team can approach any drafted or UDFA player under contract about an extention.

I think we're in really good shape. Kudos to the front office. I've got no issue with MJ walking. they can't keep everyone and have Hunt waiting in the wings and Gilberry can make plays. Like everything else, it will all come down to what they do with the QB. Apparently, there are 9 guys that are getting first round grades. Tubbs could probably speak more to this than me as I haven't been able to watch much CFF this year. I know people think the Bengals are wedded to Dalton, but if he continues to be so undynamic (honestly, what does Andy Dalton do well in terms of QB skills) I think/hope they'll draft one if it falls right.

There are a lot of great college QBs this year. The key will be figuring out which ones are NFL QBs.

Bridgewater sits at the top, but below him there are questions.

Marcus Mariota is rocketing up boards. He's big and strong, with speed to burn, but questions will persist about him playing at Oregon and transitioning to an NFL offense.

Brett Hundley is similar to Mariota. Not as athletically gifted, but needs some work on the mental side of things.

Taj Boyd is a great leader, but not as big as teams like. Some slight mechanical flaws, and takes every snap from shotgun, but size may be biggest issue.

Johnny Manziel is an amazing athlete, and finds ways to win, but doesn't have elite arm strength and has a litany of maturity issues. I don't have him in my top 10.

Zach Mettengberger is big, strong, and has a big arm, but there are concerns about mechanics and decision making.

Aaron Murray, like Boyd, lacks ideal size, and has a lower ceiling than the others. However, he has a higher floor. He's tough and accurate, great leader.

Derek Carr seems to have mostly repair the major mechanical flaws from last year, and has great arm strength and accuracy. Becoming mechanically sound in the pocket is next.

AJ McCarron is either loved or hated. He's a great leader, with sound decision making and good mechanics, but Bama QBs have thrived in their system, then floundered in the NFL. He's the best of them so far though.

I haven't watched Stephen Morris, though there are some who are really into him. David Fales has some fans too, but I have him nowhere near the first round. Jeff Mathews is another guy I haven't watched yet.

Whoever we get, he needs to be at least 6'4'' or taller and preferably 225 lbs or heavier, and he must have a big arm. The anti-Dalton, so to speak. We can work with the rest. Bigger guys can take the pounding an NFL quarterback gets week to week.

Well, he does seem to have mastered the checkdown.

Draft Logan Thomas in the 5th or 6th round. He's improved a good amount this year now that he has an actual QB coach coaching him. If he doesn't work out at QB, he'd make a good TE
