We witnessed elite defenses in the B10 and SEC Championship games.

I enjoyed it immensely.

When the Jawja defense shows up, they can beat anybody. Might be laying a few coins on them winning it all again. Damn that Dawg D was rough last night.

They beat a sinking ship. Alabama has been very mediocre down the stretch and lets not forget how they got waxed by a bad team to start the season.

The Georgia defense was extremely rough to start the season. I was honestly shocked that a Kirby Smart defense was that bad. We let the Vols look like world beaters in the first quarter against us.

Ever since the midway point of the year, our defense has been back to its dominating self. While not a truly elite unit, it can take control of the game. Ole Miss took advantage of short fields, but we held them yardage wise. Arch Manning was on the upswing, and we absolutely dominated Texas. We took Haynes King out of the Heisman conversation, and boatraced Alabama holding them to negative rushing yards for the second time in program history.

We will only go so far as Gunnar Stockton can go on offense, though.

Your defense has looked good down the stretch. It was a dominating performance against Bama but then again I think Bama is way over rated. Plus their passing attack is not good which allowed UGA to load up the box. The Texas game was there best all around game by far. The GT game was the most telling. Clearly the defense is stood up but is the offense going to be capable to move the ball in the playoffs.

I am fairly certain tOSU and UGA will meet in the playoffs. My only concern is will the UGA D-Line be able to disrupt the Ohio State offense like Indiana did. Even if they can I still think it won't be enough. Both Indiana and Ohio State went against the top 2 defenses in the BIG 10 CCG and both were able to gain over 300 yards. I also think this loss will go a long way to motivate when the playoffs begin. The BIG 10 CCG was weird becuase it had almost no impact on the playoffs. It will be interesting to see what happens when the loser has to go home.
