I know he seemed to be a popular player among some fans around here.

He was cut from the practice squad today. With Hunter promoted and Cracraft re-signed to the PS we still have 3 PS spots open.

That's weird. I thought he looked like crap in college, but did OK with his chance on the team. I don't know why they'd cut him from the PS with space open after carrying him.

I thought the same thing Listo. He couldn't move in college but was a big body. Seemed like he moved a bit better then I remember in college when he got here.

Maybe something happened off the field with him to be cut off the PS with just two weeks left and 3 open PS spots... Perhaps late to meetings? Or something else the staff was growing tired of.

You know if you're a PS guy and you aren't early for meetings you don't want it bad enough.

Was told that he missed a couple of meetings and really took to heart being called Pot Roast Jr. letting his weight spiral out of control.

No problem. Yeah it was a weird one to see him all of a sudden gone from the practice squad especially when we had like 3 spots still open anyway. From what I understand early in the season when they saw he wasn't sticking to his diet they had warned him that if he got to 400 lbs. he would be cut. Well weigh in happened and boom 400 lbs. showed up on the scale. Then pair that with missing meetings and it becomes an easy decision.

Damn shame he had a great preseason . He was getting paid to lift weights and go to games on the 50 line for free . what a putz .
