Tyms decided to tweet about being cut. Supposedly as many as 8 players may have been cut.

Won't know anything for real until mext week

Saw that.
Too bad really, IMO, he made a couple great grabs in 14 then was resigned and injured for 15.
Hopefully he clears waivers and resigns.

But that is not the feeling I got from his tweet.

Tyms was well-liked by many, including me. I think the cut was to allow him to sign on somewhere early to have a chance to make a team. "Mercy cut".....

Does that mean the Patriots might actually try for Sanu?

Sanu will be visiting the Patriots after he visits the Falcons.

If the Falcons are actually going to pony up $7M for Sanu, I don't see him in a Pats uni in 2016.

Latest word is that Sanu will meet with Atlanta on Thursday and then still plans to visit New England after that. Of course, the Falcons may very well try to overwhelm him with am offer and get him to cancel the trip to Foxboro.

Marvin Jones signed with Detroit. Detroit GM is Bob Quinn.
Rishard Matthews signed with Tennessee. TN GM is John Robinson.
Now Sanu is in Atlanta. Falcons GM team is Dimitroff and Pioli.

See a pattern here?

Ever go to a bar with a buddy only to find out he's there to shoot you down with every chick you hit on?

I don't get why Sanu would be someone you'd want for NE. He has a history of dropping balls.
That is why we got rid of LaFell. Why pay twice as much for the same problem?
WR Sanu Ahead Of Jones On Bengals Depth Chart

"Sanu rotated with Jones at No. 2 in two-wide sets before Jones emerged in 2013. He enjoyed a flourishing start to the 2014 season, but wound up being drop-prone and disappeared from the offense. One stat service had Sanu leading the NFL with 14 dropped passes. Sometimes, the ball didn't get there. Quarterback Andy Dalton at times passed over Sanu while going through his progressions because Sanu was slow to get open while trying to separate from man-to-man coverage."
