This past week the Akron Aeros traveled to Erie to take on the Erie SeaWovles, the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.
We had a chance to attend a couple games in the series and took some video of the second game as well as the third game in the series.
Carlos Moncrief has some serious power. He hit a home run out of the stadium and across the street from Jerry Uht. Tyler Naquin looked impressive at the plate and in the field and made us feel a little bit better about sticking in center. Trey Haley came out throwing gas, topping out at 98. However, his control was... still spotty.
Francisco Lindor was out of the lineup, but one can only imagine how much more fun he would have made watching that series if he were healthy.
