Saw this on twitter and thought it would be cool to get some opinions on the board since it's relatively slow.

My few choices:

Kevin Durant - Would be almost 7'3". Think about having to deal with that.
Klay Thompson - 6'10", second best shooter ever and could guard 5 positions, possibly being a stretch center! (didn't think about Klay until I saw someone on twitter mention this, but this would be crazy)
Shaq - 7'4". Good god.
Yao Ming - 7'9" and would be virtually unguardable with his turn around.
Charles Barkley - 6'9" would have made him possibly the best PF of all time by a wide margin.

Fletch. Though I'm not sure if that would be actual height or hair height....

Allen Iverson is another one

First person that came to mind for me. Iverson could have been one of the greatest players of all time if he were 3 inches taller.

Earl Boykins.

He was about 5'4.

So, with 3 more inches Dude might have been every bit as good as Midget Isiah Thomas.

But, dwarves that are professional scores ONLY were not in high demand in his heyday.

Ben Wallace.

Great defender but at that time with all the true Centers in the league, he could have been even better if he was 7'0 instead of 6'9

Think about what Rodman could have done on defense with another 3 inches as well.

I'd imagine a 6'11" Lebron or a 7 foot Magic would present a problem or 2.

How about a 6'9" Jordan?

It's kind of tautological, take any good player and add 3 inches, assuming they don't give up anything like quickness or hops, and of course they will be even better

Yeah. It's like saying "take any NFL wide receiver and add 2/10ths of a second to their 40? Who would have been superstars?" Well probably existing superstars for starters.

Iverson's a good mention. Such a good player, but give him a taller height and another team in his prime and he could have been even better.

Only if that height doesn't mess with his handle though.

Pretty easy answer.

Every player in the history of the league would have been significantly better with 3 more inches and the same skill/mobility.

Ironically though, Yao might benefit least of anybody. Because damn. 7'6" ain't tall enough anyway? Nobody was stopping his turnaround anyway.
