With the way that Winker, Frazier, Toro, Raleigh, Trammell, and Moore have looked this year, this doesn't look like a fun game to watch.

I'll place a $100 bet on the Twins winning. If the Twins lose, I'll just take this as a sign from God to start placing bets against the Mariners every game so I can will them to win.

I still can't believe Steckenrider went from saves leader to DFA'd in just a few months. Winter was a great time to deal him when he was at his highest value. Never trust a veteran reliever who all of a sudden has a career year. What a bad decision.

Honestly, it doesn't completely surprise me.

This will sound incredibly stupid, but I never thought he was as good as his numbers indicated. Didn't expect he'd crater this poorly though.

I didn't either and that is why they should have traded him in the offseason. There were rumors about teams interested in him. Never let an asset become valueless.

Not making excuses for Julio but a day off isn't gonna be a big deal. He doesn't have the best stats against righties and starter Archer is a righty- not that makes a whole hell of a lot of difference to his ba. Decisions Servais makes re: the line up, seldom makes any sense to me anyway. Not expecting much from this 3 game series.

This isn't a good team, but they still have a chance over the next month to make up ground.

If they don't, they are 100% done.

I guess I wasn't crazy. At times I wondered how he was even in the big leagues. The results said otherwise, but the fact that he was DFA'd shows that last year was just a fluke.

Still sold high on the guy, and it even made Rafael Montero somehow not worthless. What I'm saying though is that roar of "but muh team chemistry!" may have influenced a potential move of a guy who just had a career year.
