Undefeated in TLR's absence - maybe that's the trick this team was looking for.

hard to believe you still think they have a good team.Let's face it, the Sox really need a sweep here, but at the very, very least we need to take two of the three games. If the Twins take this series, then to me it's all over but the crying.
Kelly doing what Kelly has done all yr. Shocking to the white sox management and nobody elseJoe Kelly is getting the first inning tonight. The guy that has no idea where his fastball is going and only can control his knuckle curve. Okay...
Looking forward to the upcoming 3 game winning streak to give us hope again.
Hey, it's a dub. We'll take it!!Abreu hitting into an inning ending double play that was thwarted by the Twins pitcher to end the game is emblematic of this division race.
I haven't caught any post-game interviews, but I wonder if that 6 run burst in the 8th inning affected Cease. That was a long time to be sitting thinking about the no-no. Guess we'll never really know. That's what I'm talking about!
Cease was asked that question - "Did the long bottom of the 8th mess with his concentration?" Ceases response was - "no, when you have a no hitter going you can concentrate just fine." AJ Pierzynski in the broadcast booth was saying that Cease shouldn't give Araiz anything to hit and walk him if he had to - when Araiz smacked a clean single to R center. Cease was clearly disappointed in his after the game interview.I haven't caught any post-game interviews, but I wonder if that 6 run burst in the 8th inning affected Cease. The man throws perhaps the best game of his life, yet comes away disappointed. But quite understandable in that he went 8.2 innings, just one stinking out away, before losing the NH. So I kinda understand his feelings.Cease was asked that question - "Did the long bottom of the 8th mess with his concentration?"
