I agree that both QB hits were clean. BS calls, IMO.

Am I crazy or is PFF crediting Polumbus with 2 sacks here???? I'm not understanding this...

Tyler Polumbus, RT: +0.2

Breakdown: Things looked bad at times for Polumbus, surrendering a sack to J.J. Watt for one, but there were some good moments including knocking DE Tim Jamison off the ball on one snap in the running game. He finished with two sacks and two hurries surrendered on 43 pass blocking attempts good for a -0.4 grade in pass protection and some decent work in the running game at +0.3.

Signature Stat: Polumbus finished with a 95.7 Pass Blocking Efficiency, right on pace with his 95.4 PBE from last season.

Apparently skins are looking for larger WRs. This should make Shark happy;)

So all that smoke Haslett was blowing about turning the LBs loose to pressure the QB? Just smoke, eh?

Thats barely 58% of the pass plays that Rak was rushing.

:L

How many of those dropped into coverage plays did the Texans go three and four wide? Also, do you really think we were going to just cut them loose once we were playing from behind (as happened alot last year as well). Once you are down by more than a TD, the defense primary job becomes to stop the bleeding. Once you are up by tem or more, the defense job becomes pin your ears back and go after it.

Funny how we are constantly on the being gotten after side of this equation.

he rushed on 16 of the 21 pass plays he was in . again much lower then his peers kerrigan got 23 of 25

and if we were losing then i would expect more pressure to be brought not more passivity

its one game , it doesnt make the season , lets see what happens the next few games before we draw conclusions on hazmat .

the defense did play well enough to win in my opinion
