I personally believe someone will draft him and expect to sit him for a year. No way he falls past the second. I would risk a injury prone Tua over any option not named Burrow.
Herbert and Fromm probably have more upside. Tua can't handle the punishment. Incredible talent but just doesn't have the DNA to take the pounding and I font think conditioning and getting stronger is going to fix it.

Tua is a wasted first round pick.

Love is gonna be better than both. I think Herbert has bust potential written all over him.
In three years we'll be talking about Love the way we talk about Paxton Lynch right now.

Miami wouldn't need to start Tua Year One. That's the beauty of our situation right now.

Jalen's Body and Tua's arm/accuracy/football mind would be an incredible QB combo.

There's probably a better chance he ends up being someone who constantly gets hurt than someone who doesn't get hurt again. Sad but he will make good money getting drafted in the first round but I bet he either never sees a second one or he's like Cam N searching for work.

Covid-19 might be hurting Tua the most of any big name prospect....his media posts show he's okay now but not being able to have your team Dr lay hands on him has to be concerning...I'm sure MIA will make a call to CIN and let them tell them no on #1...Tua at 5 or 6? Hard call...MIA at 18 would be a lock, but as it stands Idk about Tua in the top 10.

I never liked lynch coming out. Love is better all the way around. I'm gonna guess he ends up getting drafted by the Chargers. Dude is a stud.

Fromm can’t pass for over 50 %. I think he's way over hyped.

Never say never when it comes to FCS or G5 quarterbacks, but it feels like it is much harder for these guys to be successful. Not to mention they love hyping up at least one of them to snooker a GM into reaching for him instead of getting him in the 3rd/4th where he belongs.

Big Ben, Derrick Carr, Carson Wentz, and Jimmy G are the only starters currently from FCS/G5. Former starter is the underwhelming Joe Flacco. It’s not impossible, but that game is significantly sped up.

He hasn’t had the receivers or coaching that Burrow had either. Regardless a healthy Fromm is better than a ticking time bomb Tua. Plus you have to remember that Tua has always had the upper hand with basically an NFL line against college DLs and really only faced stiff competition a couple games a year.

New England will secure the 3rd overall pick from the Lions and take Tua after giving Bob Quin a late round pick and permission to throw himself a Patriots themed birthday party.

Nah. He's raw as hell with horrible accuracy. He's going to need at least 1-2 years on the bench to even be serviceable.

Nope. His accuracy is good enough. He played at Utah State. Not like he was surrounded by any NFL talent last year. Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up being the best QB in this class in 3/4 years. But I'll stick with Burrow.

Problem is, we hear this every year with some G5/FCS quarterback no one ever even thought about until draft time because the talking heads want to look smart. Quarterback is the hardest position to be successful at the highest level. XFL proved how true this is, solid league with mediocre qb play. Everyone thinks there are a handful of guys who will be great, when the odds are more in favor of none of them panning out and at best being journeymen.

Fromm's comp % were 52.2 in 2017. 67.3 in 2018. and 60.8 in 2019. He didn't have anyone to throw to in 2019...

That was supposed to be 62.2 in 2017

I think Tua is actually a bad investment, because of all the injuries he has gotten. He won't have the protection that he had at Alabama and I can't see him playing 16 games this year or next.

I'm starting to wonder if he doesn't have a little Tebow to his game. Fantastic athlete, strong arm, leader, but odd motion/mechanics. Unlike Tebow, he's not 6'4", 230+ lbs who can take any punishment you throw at him. He was surrounded by the best WRs in college football and had the highest percentage of completions to open receivers in the NCAA last year (and I think it wasn't even close). I think he's a huge gamble.

Also wasn't playing against any NFL talent last year either. He's Paxton Lynch 2.0.
