Easy to look up and figure out, but try to guess based on your knowledge.

Since 1950, there are only six teams that have been to the world series and won the championship, without ever losing. To avoid confusion, I'm not saying they haven't lost individual world series games (they have), but they have not lost the series itself.

So, six teams total. Three of the six teams have won at least two world series and only one team has won all three it participated in.

See how many teams you can identify.

Drawing a blank after that, and I can't remember if the "hitless wonder" White Sox made it to the series.

D'Backs, Angels, and Marlins are correct. Royals lost in 2014 and maybe in the 80s. White Sox lost somewhere. Maybe 83? Twins lost to the Dodgers in 1965 I think. That was the year of one of the most unexpected MVPs. Zolio Versalles.

The "Hitless Wonder" White Sox lost to the Dodgers in '59.

Who is the only pitcher to lead both the AL and the NL in shutouts-in the same season?

1983 was Orioles-Phillies. They did lose in 1959

Yes on both. Pirates are the only team with three. Pirates, Blue Jays and Marlins are the only teams with more than one.

I'm going to guess that this is the season that Sabathia went to Milwaukee at the deadline?

Good question...Pirates (I believe the 3 timer), Marlins, Blue Jays, Cubs, White Sox, Diamondbacks

The Seattle Mariners and Washington Nationals have never lost a World Series unlike the pitiful Yankees, Red Sox or Doyers

The Chicago Cubs are the 6th Team. Not hard, just 1 World Series since 1950 and they won it over the Indians!
