da kid made some nice blocks last night....IJS.....
You're a good man, J. I'd buy you a beer.
I was driving home from my son's football practice listenin to the game last night and Lapham was railing on Robinson. If Lapham says a Bengals player is bad than he must be REALLY bad.
Lay off the crack.
He wrote "Jesus is love", and followed it with "baby, you gonna turn my life around"
which can only mean, that, like Will Farrell's race car driving alter ego, he worships the little baby Jesus.... laying in the manger.
In the Packers game when we started to move the ball he was in the game and Lapham was praising this dude like he was a God.... Then he played another decent game against Indy.... The dude will develop into a nice Center for us....You heard it here 1st...Laugh now buy his jersey later..... ie Burfict....
Also, the pac-10 (12) fired 3 game officials after reviewing tape sent in by Arz. St. showing that they were targeting Burfict during the game for penalties. I don't know how you prove it, but I remember reading a story about it leading up to the draft while reading up on Burfict.
I went back and did some digging...
The pac-10 fired 11 officials after the season (technically they were not renewed) but an insider stated that a big reason was overall poor officiating including targeting of personal fouls, but would not elaborate.
I still remember reading another article about the 3 officials linked to targeting Burfict during a specific game, and I guess they were part of the 11 officials that were not renewed.
Eitherway, it seems he's got things going in the right direction now. Dude is a player. I'd rather deal with personal foul issues on the field that are easier (I hope) to confine than dealing with issues off the field when you have no chance what-so-ever of confining those issues and preventing them.
Being a PAC-12 whore, I can say I watched Burfict a lot and he was extremely dirty....
But I love that in a player
