Agree this season and future seasons are in serious Jeopardy anyway ,so until Denver gets a franchise About, this team will be stuck in mediocrity for years to come especially if Elway is still there calling the shots. If I was Harris and DT, I'd be hoping for trade.

It’s preseason. Most of what is seen is a mirage.

I don’t think he’s an improvement over any of the current Broncos QB’s.

I agree. I was sad when Slater left as there was something there IMHO. Is he going to be a great starting QB? Maybe not, but he seemed like a guy who could be a backup.

I really like Lock and Rypein. I think both maybe better then Sloter.

Sloter has been excellent for 3 preseasons now. Lock and Rypien have both been average this year.

Say what you will about the preseason, but I don't expect as much from guys who perform average than I do from those that perform above average. Sloter has shown more than Lock and Rypien. He had shown it his rookie year. He showed it last year. And he's showing it this year.

Of all Elway's mistakes at QB, letting Kyle Sloter walk may be his biggest.

In the NFL of today you have to make a move when something like that happens. See the Chiefs with Hunt. I am surprised they have not cut ties with Hill with the allegations he has faced.

Video tape of Hunt makes it more difficult to sweep under the rug and Hunt's skills are more easily replaceable than Hill's. That said, admit beating a woman once, allegations of beating your kid....that dude can go away.
