Surely this has been done, already. Been going on for a long time, but Covid has kept people in a state of numbness. So, who are the top bands of all time? There is no Goat, just a lot of good bands.

Let’s say the Clapton Winwood duo was spectacular. And Ginger Baker on the drums. They had huge influence on later rock songs.

Most great rock bands depended on the drummer. Not so much for others like the Stones with great live performances and a guitarist like Keith Jones. Unique sound.

But, most rock are built around a good drummer.

As far as drummers go, that depends. Watching the band live is the best drummer evaluation. If they can't hold their tempo, the drummer's record performances are either manipulated in the studio or the result of marathon drum sessions. Metallica's Lars Ulrich is a good example. He is in desperate need of a click track.

Way too hard to try and rank bands, but can go with these belong in a top 10 Rock & Roll bands. Now we have a problem with ....Rock & Roll. Do a Doowop vocal group qualify? Are The Beatles Rock & Roll? Tom Waits? Leonard Cohen?

When you walk into a record store, you have Country, Soul, Rap/Hip Hop, Blues, Jazz, Reggae, then.......Rock & Roll. So....
