Can the Redskins Defense be a Top 10 Unit in 2016?(by Mark Tyler)

I agree with dad, middle to lower tier really. We still need more help on the interior DL and we are relatively weak at the ILB position. We are improved at corner with Norman/Breeland duo who I would rank a top 5 combo but again, relatively weak at safety imo with no proven starters with experience there. More importantly though, the run defense will suffer until SM improves those two areas up front which he still has time. There will be some really good football players released over the next 2 months that may help us.

Top 10? Seriously? I doubt that, but if they are a top 10 defense this team will play in the NFC Championship.

I think somewhere between 14 - 18 would be as “The Donald” would say “HUGE”, and would bring a second consecutive NFCE Championship to the WASHINGTON REDSKINS.

It does have a chance to be top ten. We added an all-pro at CB, one of the most important positions on D and we get Galette. Time will tell.

A top 10 defense does not start Kendrick Golston, Pae, Compton or Foster/Riley. I see them in the neighborhood of 15.
