LOL @ the Badgers not even being a 4 seed while leading the BIG having won 17 of last 18 and 8 in a row. On the flip side they have Gonzaga as a one seed. As long as we get in that's all that matters. I just find it odd because every major site had us as a 3 or 4 seed
They have only 2 wins over teams projected in tournament and non-conference SOS rank of 247th. Not surprised aren't in Top 16 seeds
FSU on the 2 line?
Considering every projection had them as a 4 seed or better it was shocking to me.
Not every projection had them as a 4 seed or better. I thought they'd be a 4, but if you line then up against other 4's they simply don't have the wins. If Minnesota is still your best win that should tell you something.
All polls and seeding predictors including Lunardi and 7 CBS experts all had them as a 4 seed or better.
Minnesota is are best win according to who?
Another thing to consider is many of the teams ahead of the Badgers have bad losses.
In the end it doesn't matter as long as we get in that's all that matters. We will have to earn respect over and over and over again.
orry wisconsin wouldn't lose to St. John's and Indiana state not Indiana frickin Indiana state and the badgers already beat Georgetown. Those are 3 of the 5 losses butler has. The committee is clueless
There's a lot more people out there that predict the tournament and not everyone had them as a 4 or better.
Minnesota is their best rated win. Look at the numbers.
Yes some teams have worse losses, but all of them have exponentially more better wins.
Butler has 4 wins that are clearly and by far better than anything Wisconsin has done. Clearly the committee is willing to overlook a couple bad losses if you have great wins to back it up.
So better Top 25 wins are more important than below 100 loses and you can have a couple more losses as well as long as you have a couple top 25 wins.
Again what are you using to project Minnesota as the best team?
At the very least a majority had them as a four seed or better. I couldn't find any that had them below a 4 seed which includes the polls as well.
I would agree with it if they had the same record. However having 2 more loses including one to a team that Wisconsin beat easily and 2 more loses to a 100+ an 200+ team just makes the committee a joke.
If anything I'm surprised they didn't have Indiana in the top 16 since they beat Kansas and Indiana. lol
