Is Cervenka a prospect?!? I thought this was mainly for young guys without a lot of pro hockey experience...

/Although it does bump the Flames up to 3 (still not very good).

I just hope Jon Merrill doesn't turn into the next Schultz and bolt for another team.

Sharks have their token player on there. Man are they going to be in trouble in a few years.

Also fuck Detroit, they haven't even been a bad team and they are already lining up the next wave of guys. At least the NYI, FLA, and MIN had to suck for that kind of talent.

Sabres with three and Grigorenko in the number three spot not bad. I think this kid is going to be very good.

Edit: Just noticed Brayden McNabb just missed the list? Maybe it's the homer in me but I like what I see from this kid and surprised he didn't crack the 100.

Murray, Dumba & Rielly in the top 20 & Griffin Reinhart is ranked 75th equals BULLSHIT!!

he's admittedly never been as big of a fan of Reinhart as some other scouts.
which is surprising, because one of the biggest factors i see from Griffin is how well he controls the play, and that seems to be a key element from Pronman's analyses.

How the heck is Kabanov ranked 23rd ahead of guys like Donovan, De Haan, Mayfield, Nelson & Reinhart when everyone else has him rated below them? I want him to make it big in the NHL, but I don't think he's better than any of those players at this point. Talent doesn't always mean success in the NHL.

That's a good question to ask Pronman, Isles. I'd be interested to see his response.

Five on the list for the Penguins, four of them defensemen. That's a much stronger system than I thought we had, but being so D-heavy is only a good thing if we're playing on making some trades.

I'm with ya Boss. I don't know enough about the other guys on the list to say whether McNabb should be on there or not, but from what I've seen of him, he's looked really good.

I'm a bit surprised to see that Chris Kreider isn't higher on the list. I figure if there is a season that the Calder will be between him and Granlund. He is 2 or 3 years older than a lot of the guys ahead of him though so I guess that would make sense since it's likely based on where they are projected to peak and not who is the better player today.

Kreider is going to be better than most of the players on the list period, I don't care how old he is. It really sucks that he's a Ranger.

I wonder if Emerson Etem took a hit because he struggled at the WJHC - 61 goals and 107 points ain't exactly chicken feed.

Dibs on the 35 year olds!

The Wings actually have 4 on the list.

Brendan Smith 14th
Gustav Nyqvist 26th
Tomas Jurco 44th
Tomas Tatar 55th

That's more than a number of teams who've sucked for the past 20 years in comparison. I'm actually surprised Goalie Petr Mrazek isn't on the list. He's one of the best G prospects in the world as far as I'm concerned.
