1. MJ
2. Kobe
3. D. Wade
4. J. Harden
5. P. Maravich
6. C. Drexler
7. V. Carter
8. G. Gervin
9. M. Richmond
10. J. Dumars

I didn’t use any online lists for reference. Maybe I forgot someone obvious. After Gervin, things got tough. I think my Top 8 would be most people’s Top 8, although probably not in that particular order.

Iverson is the only clear one missing I can think of. I might have Allen or Miller above some in your list, but having them 11 and 12 is not out of bounds at all.

Edit: I am assuming Jerry West is in as a PG for the list as well

I got Shai, AI and West as PG’s.

I forgot about Reggie Miller, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.

Klay deserves mention too

He is better version of Reggie Miller.

People forget how good he was because of the post injury performance.

Magic Johnson was a shooting guard, he is listed as such, but also as a point guard and power forward.......

Not sure where he would stand in this convo.......but I tend to think he should be listed.

My guess is he played mostly as a point guard because it was listed first in the NBA Reference site......

Magic was a PG first and foremost. The shooting guard and power forward listings come from when he returned to the Lakers in 1995-96 after retiring for 4 years. The Lakers already had Nick Van Exel playing point, so Magic played PF and some SG.

Magic's career could have been so much greater if he played for anyone else. :D
