Manning has 2 years on Brady and up until last year had the luxury of playing in a dome for at least 8 games every season.
Manning as of now has 436 tds and 59,487 yards
Brady has 334 and 44806.
Lets take Brady's last two seasons, average them out, then add the results in as if he had played as many seasons as Manning:
That would be 5031 yards and 37 tds
Adding that x 2 to his numbers:
54,868 yards and 408 tds
and now I did 2 of Brady's worse years:
3186 yards and 20 tds average
so that would be:
51,178 yards and 374 tds.
In the best case a difference of:
4619 yards and 28 tds
and in the worse
8309 yards and 62 tds
The gap in yards is the same if I use Brady's best 2 seasons, and the
tds are even closer if I do the same (Brady would have 424, a 12 td
difference).
Given Manning played in a dome and controlled climate and had better offensive teams overall, those numbers are not a huge difference at all and I am willing to bet Brady would be a head of Manning at this point if he had the same luxuries that Manning had for a majority of his career.
When compared to Manning's teams in Football Outsiders' DVOA efficiency rankings, Brady's defenses averaged 15th. Manning's averaged 17th.
Brady is the only quarterback in NFL history to throw for 34 or more touchdown passes and 12 or fewer interceptions in four career seasons. That's twice as many seasons as Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and 49ers legend Steve Young. Those single-season numbers have been achieved by only eight other quarterbacks in NFL history, and Brady has made it part of his yearly routine.
That's right get ready to see this again
The Ravens regressed from last year. I don't expect them to even make the playoffs.
oh here comes the inferiority complex -- just when it seemed safe to post an honest opinion based on numbers and facts that are easily found.

The legendary.....CnI!!!!!!!
Welcome, and I actually mean that. I also think it is going to be great that you are going to be restricted to one screen name here; trying to pin you down over on espn when you were in full screen name birthing mode was extremely annoying. Sometimes entertaining but more often annoying.
Sorry but the discussion was not started by me CNI, someone else started the usual Manning bs.
They were purposely trying to activate your inferiority complex, and guess what? IT WORKED!! haha!
