You realize Peyton had Marvin harrison and reggie wayne his entire career, correct? Wayne blows Welker out of the water. He didn't have to make his receivers.

Anyways, this is a different discussion for a different thread.

Baltimore in the top 10 is ridiculous. Have you guys seen how many key players they have lost. The Browns have a legit shot at having a better record then the Ravens.

Boldin is the only bad loss.

Excluded the Pats, because they will not be very good this year. Who is Brady going to throw to???

Like I said, I expect 12 wins. They have very good depth at running back, Gronk is still a beast, Ballard is one of the better number two options, Dobson and Amendola both have promise. I also expect the defense to step up. To be honest, though, I don't care what people expect from us. I'm excited and fully expect this to be our best team in several years.

They lost Ed Reed and Ray Lewis. Them 2 guys are older, and obviously Lewis retired, but Reed is still a very good player, and leaders to there D. A bigger hit then what people realize.

Both are losses in leadership, but they also will upgrade in actual play. Ray Lewis was a joke of a shred of his former self this year, on the field.

I think they have enough receivers to spread you out and beat you. You have a couple very good corners but I think their 3 and 4 guys have a field day and you don't keep up.

Well I certainly disagree with what you just said. Our secondary is so deep that no way is the Packers 3 or 4th passing option better then the guys we have defending. Packers WR corp in my opinion is a down grade from last year.

Seattle's secondary is the best in the league. I only give the Packers a chance because of Aaron Rodgers. He has a knack for finding receivers, even in small windows.

While Bengals could challenge the Bronco's for best team in the AFC, there are three NFC teams that are better. Seahawks, 49ers, and falcons.

Meh, take it, leave it, I think green bay's the better team. We'll just have to wait and see.

He's no Manning. Brady has proven before that he cannot put up big numbers without top tier receivers. He was an 80s rating, 3500 yard passer his first seven years in the league without Moss and Welker. Expect him to go back to that.

And he led the league with TD passes in 2002 with David Patton as his top receiver. Btw what year did guys like Montana lead the league in anything without HOF recievers? Absolutely brilliant post by you:lol:

Manning has 2 years on Brady and up until last year had the luxury of playing in a dome for at least 8 games every season.

Manning as of now has 436 tds and 59,487 yards

Brady has 334 and 44806.

Lets take Brady's last two seasons, average them out, then add the results in as if he had played as many seasons as Manning:

That would be 5031 yards and 37 tds

Adding that x 2 to his numbers:

54,868 yards and 408 tds

and now I did 2 of Brady's worse years:

3186 yards and 20 tds average

so that would be:

51,178 yards and 374 tds.

In the best case a difference of:

4619 yards and 28 tds

and in the worse

8309 yards and 62 tds

The gap in yards is the same if I use Brady's best 2 seasons, and the
tds are even closer if I do the same (Brady would have 424, a 12 td
difference).

Given Manning played in a dome and controlled climate and had better offensive teams overall, those numbers are not a huge difference at all and I am willing to bet Brady would be a head of Manning at this point if he had the same luxuries that Manning had for a majority of his career.

When compared to Manning's teams in Football Outsiders' DVOA efficiency rankings, Brady's defenses averaged 15th. Manning's averaged 17th.

Brady is the only quarterback in NFL history to throw for 34 or more touchdown passes and 12 or fewer interceptions in four career seasons. That's twice as many seasons as Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and 49ers legend Steve Young. Those single-season numbers have been achieved by only eight other quarterbacks in NFL history, and Brady has made it part of his yearly routine.
