Just a thought, but I won't mind seeing the Seahawks draft Antonio Gibson. Plays both RB and WR, returns kicks. Electric. Be good insurance if Carson isn't ready for season start, then once Penny is back could fill in at WR. Jack of all trades, special at all of them IMO.

Yeah the Hawks need someone other than Lockett for returns and last years group wasn't all that good at it. Last season the Hawks were 29th on kick return average and 24th on punt return average. Hidden yardage that can win you games.

I mentioned him a while back, he reminds me of golden tate a little bit who also played RB in college if I'm not mistaken

I don't know we can say that the first wave of free agency is officially over with Clowney still out there, but for the sake of argument let's assume he's back in 2020. Given that, I still prefer early picks in this next draft be spent on OL/DL. We seem to be pretty set at just about everywhere else on the team with a decent mix of youth and experience, and you just cannot have too much depth in the trenches....and you could also make a case without much difficulty that the lines is also where we have the least talent. This would be acutely accurate should Britt become a cap casualty and Clowney signs elsewhere.

Kind of reminds me of Prosise back when Prosise was healthy for a small window, just electric, fast as lighting, makes defenders look silly. I like him. Probable end up a Chief player.

Knew we were bad, didn't think it was that bad.

Prosise healthy for a small window?

Small window = 24 hours.

What would you all say to the Hawks spending a 5th on someone like Kenny Robinson? I know we don't have a 5th but i also know the Hawks will trade down some where and get one lol.

6-1 or 6-2 a little more than 200 pounds that is a perfect Single High safety that just needs to grown (like any rookie does). He was playing for the battlehawks and .. well i mean it's strange he went from college right to the XFL after getting kicked out of school? little foggy on what happened.. I am a little lost on how this work work because well he never went to the combine because he was playing ... little confusing but i DO believe he goes into this years draft.

I really like Joshua Kelley from UCLA he ran for over 1,000 yards and 10 TDs both his junior and senior seasons on a bad UCLA team. He has very good academics, good off the field behavior, and has good size for the RB position. All our backs are about 5'10'' or 5'11'' around 220 pounds which he fits that mold

On the defensive side of the ball I really like Curtis Weaver DE from Boise state. He averaged 10 sacks a season as a 3 year starter. At 265 he can move pretty well I think a rush of him and bruce irvin would be great

I wouldn't be all that jazzed about a 2nd round pick on a WR. We have Lockett under contract for 2 more seasons and Metcalf for 3, and I would expect a year from now Lockett gets an extension. I think we would be much better off using that pick on a lineman vs a receiver in rnd 2 in consecutive drafts. On this team, the third WR is almost always going to be just a role player and one that we could fill quite easily with a later round pick or a June 1st free agent. Unless we plan to start throwing 40 times a game, a 2nd round pick on a WR3 is a really inefficient use of draft capital in my opinion.

I like the mock.

Like the 2 Rushers. Can't have enough of those on 3rd down

Dillion is a nice pick.

Love the 6th rounder.

He is what I was looking for when I was clamoring for a QB to be drafted. We need a guy who is a prospect that we can develop and mold into a star.

Not saying that Russ is going to retire next year but we need to look ahead for the next few years and Russ is getting up their in age and he has been our Iron man but sometimes Iron gets dented or Rusted

Russell just turned 31 about 4 months ago. He's proving to be one of the more durable QBs (or players in general) of this or any generation, and the elite QBs are playing well into their late 30s these days and some even beyond. I have no doubt he'll be rolling strong still in 6 years from now. We'll probably cycle through 2 more cores around him before he's done.

Brock H likes this guy if he falls to us in the 2nd round. I know some folks wouldn't want a RB this early, but he is intriguing.

I think he will be around in the 3rd or 4th round. Ran a really slow 40 time.
