We have too many holes to throw away a 4th rounder on a qb. They will sign some schlub for peanuts and thats how it should be.

Then what if Russ retires next year? Were fucked.

If we take a QB who learned from him, who learned the offense for a year. Then we have a realistic chance at making the playoffs again.

Greg Olsen... He’s a guy I would love the Seahawks to pursue in the off-season. He and the Carolina Panthers have agreed to part ways. He would be a great fit in our offense for a few years

yeah Wilson should be here till late 30's and maybe even into his 40's, He has said repeatedly he wants to play a long time. He is not one of these QB's that relies on speed or quickness more so in awareness. We have not seen a 4.5 Wilson since 2015 lol he is more like a 4.6 guy now but he is not a runner he is a scrambler always looking to throw. Also Wilson is a lot stronger than people expect and it takes a solid wrap up to get him down.

On the other side of the ball i have a strong feeling the Hawks make a play on Vic Beasley Jr. Not my first or 2nd or 3rd or even 5th choice but thats the guy i think they go after to pair with Clowney. I don't think he is a good fit in the type of DE's this team uses but he can fill two roles a DE and a outside LBer.

Beasley would be ok as a replacement for kendricks, he has no pass rush.

Beasley would fit nicely at the OLB if the Seahawks draft that edge rusher out of Wisconsin. Last mock had him going to Seattle so of course take that with a grain of salt.

Zach moss ran a 4.64 40, pretty damn slow but he might fall to the 3rd or 4th round now. I think he would be a good value pick for us.

The thing about Beasley and the hawks defense is that their linebackers are supposed to be able to cover the field and fly to the ball we never really had a linebacker rusher under pete carrolls defense except for maybe bruce irvin. our rush usually came from the defensive line and literally everyone else drops back and gives up 0 big plays. Vic Beasley unless converts to defensive end which I support would be a great add otherwise I don't see how he would fit our scheme

5 picks in the first 3 rounds sound pretty good.

This is why I say take a QB at the 4th comp. Pick

Whatcha got to lose?

I guess it depends on how Seattle attacks FA and what glaring needs they have going into the draft.

Comp picks awarded:

We gained a 3rd, 4th, 6th

I totally forgot about compensatory when I was looking at the draft this year. Thinking, "Man it'd be nice to have a 3rd" but there it is!

I'm sure in good ol' Seattle fashion they'll trade back their 1st for an attempt to grab another 3rd or early 4th. Still, 3 2nds would be nothing to scoff at (if we trade back our 3rd).

We have quite a bit of holes on DL, OL, and secondary. Course FA could shore up some stuff but even with FA I still see those as holes.

So tired of the old trade back and draft quantity over quality. This team needs QUALITY. get a stud, trade up if we need to.
