With Cole gone and Ponikarovsky signed, 'Canes will give him every opportunity to see if he can improve on that.
Barring trades, I see a lot of competition forthcoming to ride Staals wing. Someone needs to have a break out party this year.

In some ways I hope that move works out. While not a Leafs fan I kind of like Connolly and would like to see him have a few healthy productive years. I just do not see it happening though.

When Timmy first came up I thought he was going to be special. He had all the tools & still does. The Isles rushed him & he's never been able to put it all together.
