From what I did see though, the lines sucked and Giroux is filthy as all hell.

2. Hartnell - I single him out but all offense was not clicking at all
3. Bryz - Thats a lot of goals no matter what. Needed to make some big saves for us even if they aren't necessarily his fault only.

Schenn gets on the board somehow. Bryz is lights out. The young guns match any speed the Blues have and keep us in a tight game.

1. Lava - you deserve to lose your decision making ability for the next game. you kidding with hartnell on the top line? please tell me that was some kind of joke and i didnt actually see that tonight

2. Lava - your other combos were fuckin garbage too.. jvr.read.voracek.. seriously? read's been playing well all season so you change his position and put him between 2 guys that have underwhelmed? on the 3rd line? why? couturier playing well, goals in consecutive games, so put him on the 4th line, that one makes sense (NOT)

3. Bryz - you sucked tonight. the first goal was garbage, and the 4th goal was garbage. get better please.

1. 4th Line - they deserve a lot of credit for the flyers having any kind of offensive pressure for the first 45 minutes.. nodl was straight FLYING after the puck tonight.. talbot deserves recognition for maybe being the most consistent flyer this season.. gets the puck in deep and is a rabid dog on the forecheck (if he continues this play he's going to get out of my doghouse pretty quick).. couturier, still impressing

2. Briere - played his ass off tonight, and had a nice shot

3. Pronger - i wouldn't hate you so much if that hit on backes wasn't your first hit in 3 years..


extra credit:
is there a reason the flyers cant control the puck? tape to tape passes just hopping over guys sticks or bouncing 3 and half miles away from them.. jagr is the biggest culprit for this.. pay attention to detail guys.. read strikes out on a puck that was almost sitting still in the slot with nobody inside a 10 foot radius.. jagr receives passes like he's trying to set a volleyball (like 5 times)

I think he needs to be with Briere. Don't think they should be line 1 though. As much as I'm excited about Shenn, he needs to play 3rd/4th line until something happens. Enough with this scrambling of the lines. Go back to what we had when we were winning.

is what it should've been. bring schenn in to rinaldo's spot, and switch hartnell and simmonds to get briere going... from all the morning tweets it looks like he's keeping the lines from last night, which aren't the lines i'd pick at all, i think they're disgusting, but at least he's keeping them consistent i suppose

giroux and jvr have played together most of jvr's career.. keep em together.. giroux needs to stop forcing the puck to jagr, so take him off the line.. read looked good w/ roo in the preseason.. briere/hartnell are used to eachother, jagr can be a wizard with the puck (he has been a few games this year, just cant find the net w/ his shot).. couturier deserves to keep centering the 3rd line, simmonds and voracek have (hopefully) developed some chemistry.. schenn shouldn't get to jump over 6 guys because he had 8 points in 4 games in the AHL, so he starts on the 4th line, with talbot and nodl

I agree. Go back to our old lines and just switch out Rinaldo's sopt with Schenn. If Schenn proves we need to play him more, then that is not a bad problem to have.

Great Game. Will be tough to pick Goats but I will try and get nitpicky. By no means do I think they played terrible.

1. Jagr - I would say Hartnell if not for the salutes
1a. Hartnell - May have found a home with Jroo and Jagr
3. Bob - Played very well. Made some saves he should not have.

1. Pronger's Luck - the worst
2. Tmmo - Sloppy plays and passes
3. Refs - Gust can dive after getting hit by own player and get the call but Bob gets hit for real and nothing
