He was pretty brutal. He almost single handedly let the other team back in it by taking horrible penalties. He also should have prevented the 1st goal which gave them a slight bit of hope.

2. Hartnell - you kidding man? why dont your passes to your teammates settle that nicely on their sticks?

3. Lady Luck - honestly, 3 or 4 goals off d-men tonight? that may never happen again, ever.

1. Giroux - how pretty was that breakaway?

2. Couturier - more impressed w/ him every game he plays. he's so composed and knows right where to go in almost every situation.

3. JvR - thought he was flying around more than anyone tonight.. really looked like he wanted it, unfortunately nothing came from his effort

my only beef with lava, is that i think he outcoaches himself sometimes (see playoffs goalie situation last year). the mixing of lines may have been essential with bringing schenn in but should have been worked out in practice, not in the game.

he is crumbling under the pressure about the fact he is the second highest paid forward and he blows, they need to find a taker for him, it really doesnt matter what we get in return.

Agreed. 100%. The straight fact is that his "game" is no longer needed on this team. Simmonds & JvR easily replace him as the guy to stand out front and cash in on the dirty goals and we don't need anyone to replace his slow footed, lazy idiotic penalties, so in my mind, the solution is obvious. ******** must go!
