Not a must-win, but a few musts: RIchards need to show the hell up and look like he wants to be on the ice. Giroux needs to play like a star, four turnovers in one game doesn't cut it. Leino and Hartnell need to start showing up on the stat sheet again. JvR needs to show that a HT against the Isles isn't all he has left in his tank. And the third d-pairing needs to be at least adequate. Only players over 28 on that list are the 3rd pairing. And they are paid accoridngly.

The HBL line needs to show some life down the stretch. They have been in a slump for far too long. Too many times guys are trying to do make something happen themselves. What the hell happened to the crisp breakouts we were seeing before?

Flyers need 5 wins in their last 7 games to clinch the division outright, no matter what happens with the Pens tonight or in the next 2 weeks. So no, tonight is not must win.

On a happier note, the Flyers have officially clinched the tiebreaker with the Penguins. Penguins can at best tie the Flyers in ROW (the first tiebreaker), and the Flyers have already won the season series with them (the second tiebreaker), so the Penguins need to beat us outright for the division. They can't tie.

I just shat myself. I checked the standings and saw the Pens had 98 points and had played 76 games. I looked p and saw we had the same.

Just got a Versteeg shirt as they were putting them out today on the shelves. I expect him to have a huge game tonight....anyways not a MUST WIN but they need to win this game, especially after last weeks effort against the Pens. Really need to see a full 60 minute effort from the Flyers tonight or I am really worried about this team come playoffs. If they dont turn the switch on soon, 1st round exit is looming. Prediction. Flyers 3-1 win.
