Was announced after practice today. He explored grad transfer, spoke to some other schools, but chose to stick around. Huge for us

He never visited any schools and his heart was at PSU. Him staying is better then us getting a 5 star recruit. He does so much for the team with very little national recognition. So happy he decided to stay.

He will still have another year of eligibility after this season right? So when Trace moves on he'll have a shot at being the starter in his last year.

Which he should. The man has talent and he should explore every option to him. In the end I hope it works out for him staying at PSU but I just don’t think he will get enough snaps at QB to help his draft stock as if he went to another School. Being greedy I love that he stayed but I think he could have helped himself more if he left.

If he wants to get drafted he is best off switching positions at least part time to WR like we saw towards the end of the season. Given the young talent that we have I'm not sure that he'll ever be our starting QB.

Worst case he can get a master's degree in something over the next two seasons.

He’ll start in 2019, McSorely and him was very close call 2 years ago
