I watched the Brady press conference for the Bengals. He didn't get one question regarding the Bengals, not one even though he tried to steer it there a couple of times. The media I think believe, that if they ask the same question, in a 100 different ways, they are eventually going to get Brady to say, "I can't stand this crap anymore, yes we suck, no we have no talent around me, I am fed up with the direction this team has gone."
Are the media heads out of their damn mind? Seriously, it was the same damn question asked in 15 different ways. I can't believe Brady smiled through the whole damn thing. I can understand why BB and Marvin go out of their minds with mind numbing repetitive questions. How many ways can you ask the same damn questions to make yourself look smart like you actually tried to ask something original? I think they should just have canned speeches regarding the week before, the upcoming opponent happenings on the team, injury reports, players standing out in the positive manner, etc. This will make the entire speech on target and avoid repeating themselves 15 times.
If I was Tom Brady I would have had to precursor my interview with, "We got killed in KC this last week due to poor play at every position on the field. We were embarrassed, we didn't play to our ability and we let one mistake snowball and then get carried away. KC has a good team and good home town fan support, and I congratulate them on a solid victory that helped shine light on areas we need to work on before we face the Cincinnati Bengals. We as a team, and I as an individual will work harder to ensure a game like this doesn't occur again. I would also like to remind everyone that we are still tied for first in our division, and by no means out of this thing only 4 weeks into the season. Yes, we have not looked like the Patriots of the last decade, but I can assure you, we are working hard to fix our issues, and collectively as a whole get better as the season wears on. So regarding the debacle in KC this last Monday night, we have moved on, and concentrating on the next game ahead of us, the Cincinnati Bengals. I will not field or comment on any questions relating to our play over the beginning part of the season as I have assured you, we have played like crap and yes, we are doing everything we can to correct this. If any question strays back into topic, I will ignore it and continue on with the interview with someone else who can listen properly. Thank you for your understanding. First question..."
