Ehhh, I think they'll continue to be progressively more pass heavy as the season moves along. Andy Reid has always wanted to be a spread guy to a degree from the very beginning and now he has his toys to actually do that. He was a player/grad assistant at BYU during the late 70's and 80's if that gives you any hints. Louis Reddick (I usually don't cite TV personalities but he was a Reid Scout OUaT so he's clued in more than most) pretty much laid it out:

1) Spread
2) Pass a lot
3) Run out the clock once you have a big lead

It's pretty analytic friendly so I don't mind, but probably not gonna be super fun for Hunt fantasy owners.


As far as pace goes... pretty unlikely Mahomes is gonna get enough attempts to get to 50 or anything crazy, but the offense is so stacked he probably could be in the outer limits of efficiency for a QB if he continues to play well. There will be more attempts, but not uber pass heavy. I think that's coming more in 2019-20.

well, he's thrown 4 picks now in his last 2 games and the 2 last night were pretty ugly ... hightower baited him big-time into that one and then the one he threw in the endzone he shouldn't have thrown at all. Young player mistakes ... only his 7th start.

overall grade last night would probably be a B or B- from me because he still made some plays happen that most QB's don't
