Also, it's not like TCU has been a staple of great character either if we are being honest

I'm afraid TCU just wasted a schooly...if they even did. Unless he's had a huge "maturing epiphany", I'm betting he doesn't even make it to enrollment date much less play a down at TCU.

May have to be Last Chance U. Not sure Blinn would even take him.

For him it's worth wasting one. Hope it works out for him in 11 of 12 games the next couple of years but that dude is a 30 for 30 waiting to happen.

Sweaty P, trap dooring a kid who signed his LOI after getting Evans.. But who'll really say anything since Gary P can do no wrong and is a good man?

The perspective of Patterson has always been puzzling to me. He’s a great coach but he’s an absolute whiny POS with who’s not afraid to do some shady shit. I’ve never really understood the reverence for him.

That's why I laugh when the national media says that TCU is the perfect fit for a kid like Evans who will have the disciplined structure needed to succeed.. lol haven't they pulled up the arrest record in Gary P's tenure there? Hell they are awaiting penalties for players getting paid for doing nothing by certain Frog Booster companies.
This guy also is one of the worst negative recruiters there are in the country. He sells the problems at other schools more than what TCU can do for you. But I guess being a country singer who plays a guitar covers all of it up?

That’s how Cowboy Joe West keeps umpiring MLB games after nearly 40 years of being one of the worst in the business

You answered it yourself didn't you? Don't know about "reverence", but I think he's is viewed so by many because he's been able to have some sustained level of success at a place like TCU. Doing so at places like that ain't easy to do in the opinion of most.

His teams have underperformed lately if you look at the talent they had drafted. Especially their offense. It has been painful to watch. That's JMO.

Y'all remember this guy?? He just got dismissed at Colorado.. former bama player who transferred..

Antonio Alfano no longer with CU Buffs football team – BuffZone

Apparently this 5-star kid's mother had some serious health issues, and now his grandmother has serious health issues... and supposedly this kid has a hard time dealing with these things per the article linked below.

Colorado DL Antonio Alfano, former five-star Alabama prospect, no longer with Buffaloes program

It sounds like perhaps he should go home to New Jersey. Maybe staying near home and possibly eventually enrolling at Rutgers would be in his future?

My point is that he’s viewed as a coach who runs a clean program and keeps his team disciplined and out of trouble. That’s just not true.

My bad. I thought it was about the playing performance.

If it is viewed as you say, people need to get another view. Data proves that. TCU's had lots of player behavior issues over the past several years IIRC.

Exactly. Guy gets over on the worst OU team in 15 years and he’s a genius for the rest of his career. :noidea:

Lorando Johnson who signed with LSU is now enrolling with Baylor. I'm sure Baylor did what he had to do to get him qualified.
Lorando Johnson, Lancaster, Cornerback

Also Eric Monroe S at LSU is hitting the portal, looks like he will be ending up at Baylor as well. He has 2 years remaining. He was a top 55 kid out of TX..been snakebit with injuries

Donnell Harris DE out of FL who signed with aggy, is apparently homesick and wanting out. There are rumors and even FL commits are tweeting about it now.

It's great to sign highly ranked players out of state, but good luck keeping them there if they aren't happy
